Alice Prigent – Territory Manager – Clinical & Industrial Solutions

Alice Prigent is our Territory Manager for both clinical & industrial solutions in Wales and the South West of England.

As a child what did you want to be when you grew up? 

I always loved music and drama and wanted to be an actress. 

What is your professional background and what drew you to working for AB Scientific?

I started my career on a Sales Graduate Scheme after graduating from UWE. After a year in that role I moved to a Sales Account Management role before joining AB Scientific a few years later. Since the beginning of my sales career I’ve been interested in the medical sales industry and I was drawn to AB Scientific because of their innovative products, how customer focused they are and the great range of customers they work with. 

How would your colleagues describe you? 

A team player, creative, organised and competitive. 

What are your hobbies and interests outside of work? 

I recently bought a house so my evenings are now mostly spent stripping paint, but I am also a bit of a foodie and love going out to dinner, trying new places and cooking. To counteract that I am part of a netball team and go to the gym (sometimes enjoy spin!). 

How has AB Scientific allowed you to grow and develop professionally and personally and what do you like best about your role here? 

Starting in a completely new industry, I have pushed myself to understand a completely new area and develop my skills in identifying new customers. Every day is exciting, I get to speak to so many different customers to see how I can help them improve their quality of work and save them time. We always have new products added, allowing me to find new customers I can help, and I enjoy building relationships.
