Making tube segments is a common non-destructive technique to sample blood bags. It is for often used to cross-match red blood cells concentrates. The quality of a manual tube stripper is user-dependent as it requires a well developed technique and can also be a strain on the user since it requires considerable hand strength. Fully Automatic & Cordless Tube Stripper
Tube stripper is a highly effective non-destructive technique to sample and/or to perform quality control of blood bags, by milling/stripping the tube of its content. The Tube stripper can be used to cross-matching red blood cells concentrates with patients. The segment of the blood bag should then represent the overall content of the bag.
Tube stripper is safe to use – it stops automatically when blocked or when the blood bag is detected.
