It is with great pride we announce that AB Scientific have been accredited to ISO/IEC17025:2017 by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) for the calibration of microbial air samplers both in our purpose built laboratory or on our customer’s own site.
AB Scientific initialised this project to enable us to fully support our customer base who use the active air monitoring equipment from our sister company Clean Air Monitoring Solutions (CAMS) that AB Scientific previously invested in. By being able to offer UKAS accredited calibration we can now offer a complete support service to our customers.
We are also able to offer calibration services for other air samplers in addition to those manufactured by CAMS. We would welcome enquiries if we can help you in any way with the calibration of your existing air samplers.
Our Head of Quality & Regulatory Affairs Mel Peachey said, “It was quite daunting when initially tasked with this project but thanks to the support of Susan Alexander from Management & Risk Solutions and the UKAS Training Academy the whole process has been smooth and enjoyable. I am very proud of what we have achieved.”
Service Manager Neil Diamond who was also instrumental in achieving accreditation added, “As an organisation we already operated under a strong quality management system and so we were not starting from scratch. That said, we are really proud in the speed we have been able to achieve this for our customers.”
