Hurricane Dx utilises magnetic particle separation technology to deliver fast, accurate, and cost-effective results, supporting high workloads and quick turnaround times for your laboratory.
It features a comprehensive range of autoimmune disease assays & infectious disease testing. The system uses micro-particles with a large, uniform coating area and ready-to-use reagent cartridges available in convenient 50- or 100-test kit formats. Assay information is transmitted via an RFID tag, and reagents offer a 2-month on-board stability, with calibration remaining stable for up to 4 weeks, ensuring highly accurate and reproducible results.
Operating modes: random access to samples and reagents, batch, and STAT functions
Capacity: 126 samples and 25 reagent kits
Throughput: up to 120 tests/hour. First result in 25 minutes.
Barcode identification of samples and common reagents. Specific reagent information is transmitted to the system via RFID tag.
On-board sample pre-treatment, automatic re-run, and reflex testing functions.
Disposable tips for sample pipetting avoid carry-over and allow for clog/bubble/low sample detection.
Quality Control data management by Levey-Jennings charts & Westgard rules and full sample traceability, and bi-directional LIS connection.
