Employee Spotlight April: Aaman Mahil

Aaman Mahil is our Territory Manager for clinical solutions in the Midlands and North of England.

As a child what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to work at Alton Towers because I thought I would get free rides every day! 

What is your professional background and what drew you to working for AB Scientific?

My role at AB Scientific was my first job since leaving De Montfort University in Leicester with a degree in Biomedical Science. What appealed to me most about the role was being given the platform to make a positive impact on people’s lives through the provision of high quality, cutting edge products to laboratories. 

How would your colleagues describe you?

Hardworking, driven, informative, passionate and always willing to help. 

What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?

As well as going to the gym and playing football, I love to ‘quality control’ my favourite beer at my local pub and spend time with my family and friends. 

How has AB Scientific allowed you to grow and develop professionally and personally and what do you like best about your role here?

When I first joined AB Scientific, I had no sales experience. The company invested in me through full, comprehensive training and gave me the toolkit I needed to become successful. Our Group Sales Manager Chris is always on hand to support and guide me when needed, using his wealth of knowledge in sales, industry, and life! What I love most of all about my role though is being able to speak to different people everyday and provide them with the solutions that will improve the quality of their work, save them money and make their lives easier.
