The Pharmig annual conference is a highlight of the year for us at AB Scientific! The conference always attracts excellent presentations and informative topics. In addition to the learning, it is a great opportunity to catch up with customers old and new.
This year we had the pleasure of exhibiting the UVD Robot live on our stand which tied in with the fantastic presentation given from Caitlin Cooke at AstraZeneca who presented this paper. The robot attracted a lot of attention especially when it drove itself around the room!
We displayed our full core product range using our new and snazzy video wall exhibition stand. This enabled us to have a bit of fun later in the day during the pre-dinner drinks reception. Throughout the day delegates were able to bet on our charity horse races. This proved to be very popular and by the time it came to 7pm, there was a large crowd amassed on our stand ready to watch the races. The third race was the highlight of the evening, The Pharmig Committee Sack Race. It was great fun and those that didn’t back a winner could still enjoy the fact that all profits were sent to Children With Cancer UK. In total we raised an amazing £363 for this wonderful charity, so thank you to everyone who took part.
Personally, for us at AB Scientific the whole conference was capped off with the wonderful news that we were voted Exhibitor of the Year for the 2nd year running by the delegates. Thanks to everyone who voted for us, we are chuffed to bits!
