UV-C light

UV-C light can eliminate microorganisms. UVD Robots are UV-C disinfection solutions for cleaning teams to bring disinfection protocols to a higher level in the environment. UVD Robots have been designed with feedback from specialists involved in cleaning and disinfection procedures with UV light. Our self-driving robot has several cutting-edge features that bring UV-C light disinfection to a higher level.

Self-Driving

The germicidal characteristics of UV-C light at close range are well known. However, the laws of physics create obstacles that challenge the feasibility of using UV-C light as a disinfectant in larger areas due to shadows and distances. The unavoidable challenges of using UV-C disinfection governed by the laws of physics create the necessity of repositioning a manual UV-C device multiple times. Only with the autonomous, self-driving UVD Robots can you be sure to have irradiated sufficient UV-C amounts onto surfaces in an area.

Cameras and sensors

UVD Robots come with laser scanners and 3D cameras that recognize obstacles on their way. By using the cameras the operator can navigate via the tablet. In optional manual mode the operator can disinfect and navigate the robot via the tablet.

Safety

The robot has multiple safety systems that can be activated by the user depending on the actual environment and type of installation.

Ease of use

UVD Robots are easy to integrate with existing standard operating procedures and workflows for seamless workflow integration. The intuitive user interface and state of the art technology make installations and training easy, and will have your facility up and running in just a few hours.

With the UVD Robots Fleet Management system, you have access to detailed disinfection reports including UV-C exposure map of the disinfected area, and you can export a PDF directly from the report. With the disinfection history you can provide reporting towards environmental hygiene KPIs and a repeatable, systematic approach to disinfection.
